Why this list exists

Wealth lists usually rank people by what they kept. Jeff Bezos suggested the more interesting ranking: how much wealth they created for other people.

Value Delivered Score is a public methodology and leaderboard built around that idea. v1 uses the investor-wealth definition — market value held by others — because it is measurable, comparable across public companies, and faithful to the original framing.

It is not a moral scorecard, a productivity index, or a complete social-welfare model. It is a clear number with published rules, sources, and as-of dates.
